I've been making paper mobiles since 2005 as studio art practice.
My mobiles are made of high quality, fade resistant, non-toxic construction paper or cardstock, thread, staples, and glue. These lightweight materials maximize movement and are surprisingly durable.
They are dynamic, relaxing additions to any home.

CYCLE SCOUTS
As an experiment in positive behavior change, I gathered a group of transportation planners and bicycle advocates to develop the Cycle Scouts, a performance based legion of on-the-ground, bicycle-savvy mavens whose mission was to encourage good bicycle behavior. Good bicycle etiquette soothes tensions and makes the road safer for everyone.
Because no one can resist a treat for a job well done, the Cycle Scouts hand out free goodies and positive words to bicyclists they observe following the rules of the road.
Cycle Scouts promote the credo that good civic behavior leads to greater understanding and support of bicycling. This is because bicyclists often get a bad rap from motorists, pedestrians, and other roadway users for breaking the rules. The Cycle Scouts want to change this, one positive interaction at a time.
